Bolmynydd Camping Park
Access Statement

Bolmynydd Camping Park is set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is located 5 miles from Pwllheli on the A499 road between Pwllheli and Abersoch. The Park is situated along a narrow lane on the lower slopes of Llanbedrog headland. Within easy walking distance of Bolmynydd there are 2 glorious beaches (with car parks adjacent), grocery shop, family pub and cosy bistro. There is a chemist located in Llanbedrog village, approximately 1/4 mile away from the Park.

There are 16 level hard-standing fully serviced caravan pitches let out on a seasonal basis. There are 40 tent pitches each one marked out with hedges and its own electric hook-up point. All of the pitches have parking alongside the pitch.

All the pitches on the Park have access along a road running through the Park.

The amenity block has facilities for disabled guests.

There are baby changing facilities available in the amenity block.

There is a 5 mph speed limit on the Park.

Drinking water points are clearly marked and are conveniently sited around the Park and at a suitable height.

The chemical disposal point is situated behind the toilet block and is easily accessed via a flat surface.

Bin areas are easy to locate and sited next to the toilet block.

Fire points are situated around the Park and are clearly marked.

Reception is clearly visible from the entrance and by means of one step is on ground level. Parking near to reception is available.

Facilities are clearly signed and well lit at night.

The sinks in the dishwashing room are of a standard height as are the machines in the laundry room.

Dogs are welcome on the Park. There is a dog walking area.

Mobile telephone reception is good around the Park. Internet access is available on site through the Park’s wi-fi using your own device.

There is a regular bus service at the bottom of the lane (1/4 mile) which runs to Abersoch and Pwllheli and connects with the mainline train station at Pwllheli.
